This book has some compelling images from the Philippine campaigns, but I found the historical context a bit lacking. There are great visuals of the soldiers in combat, but a deeper dive into the strategies would have been nice. Still, it's a decent read for anyone interested in military history.

Disappointed with the print quality
I was really looking forward to this book, but when it arrived, the print quality wasn't what I expected. Some images were grainy and hard to see. I reached out about a possible exchange but haven’t heard back yet. Hoping to resolve this soon.

A fascinating look at WWII battles
I purchased this for my grandfather who fought in the Philippines during WWII. The detail in the illustrations is impressive, and it really captures the essence of the combat between U.S. soldiers and Japanese infantrymen. He enjoyed reminiscing about his experiences while looking at the depictions. Definitely worth it for history buffs!

I got this for my son who’s really into military history. He loved the combat illustrations and the stories behind them. The quality of the pages is nice too. I just wish it came with a few more maps or diagrams to better understand the battles.
