Sowohl die Aufrechterhaltung des kontraproduktiven Wirtschaftsembargos der Amerikaner als auch die interne Reformblockade in Kuba spiegeln wider, dass auf beiden Seiten Opposition und Regime die Hardliner noch immer die Oberhand haben und ein Aufbrechen der fr beide Seiten im Grunde profitablen Demokratieblockade bislang erfolgreich verhindert haben.
