Unlike Oklahoma, Which Was Scrapped, Nevada Was Repaired, Refit, And Returned To Service. Bb36 Served With Distinction During The Invasion Of France, And Also In The Pacific, Supporting The Amphibious Landings At Iwo Jima And Okinawa.Obsolete By The End Of The War, Nevada Survived The Nuclear Testing At Bikini Atoll During Operation Crossroads.
