While there is a reasonable selection of readers for use with classesstudying Greek, there is a shortage of book containing suitableselections for teaching the techniques of translation; this book isdesigned to fill this gap. It consists of three sections. The firstcontains a series of sequences which tell a particular story, eachsequence being introduced by a brief account of the context; themajority of the sequences are from prose authors. There are also a fewindividual passages. The second section consists of harder pieces, bothprose and verse, some of which are arranged in sequenses, but a greaterproportion of which are isolated pieces intended for use as unseens. The final section is an Appendix, which is intended as a convenientsource of Greek practice passages.
