So entstanden unternehmensweit gesehen groe Unterschiede bezglich der eingesetzten Applikationen, Betriebssysteme, Programmiersprachen, Hardware, Werkzeuge und weiteren ITKomponenten. Folglich ist gerade bei bereichs oder unternehmensbergreifenden Arbeitsablufen eine Vielzahl an selbsterstellten Schnittstellen ntig geworden und es gibt Redundanzen in den Daten oder den Anwendungsfunktionen. Eine geordnete ITGovernance ist somit wesentlich erschwert. Die Lsung dieser Problematik verspricht eine entsprechende ITArchitekturarbeit. Applikationsarchitekturen bieten einen Ausgangspunkt, die Vielzahl betrieblicher Applikationen und ihrer Schnittstellen in der Art eines Bauplans geordnet darzustellen und systematisch zu verbessern. Bei der Entwicklung von Applikationsarchitekturen ist es elementar, alle Anforderungen einzusammeln sowie den berblick ber diese zu behalten. Folglich ist ein professionelles Anforderungsmanagement notwendig, da hierdurch eine zentrale Verwaltung der sich aus vielfltigen Quellen und in vielfltigen Formen ergebenden Anforderungen erreicht werden kann (vgl. DRNEMANN und MAYER 2003, S. 1). Ziel nachfolgender Arbeit soll sein, einen berblick zu verschaffen, warum das Anforderungsmanagement eine so wichtige Rolle bei der Entwicklung von Applikationsarchitekturen spielt und deshalb notwendigerweise damit zu verbinden ist. Dazu werden in Kapitel 2 zunchst die Grundlagen des Anforderungsmanagements dargestellt. Nach einer Begriffsdefinition erfolgt eine kurze Einfhrung ber die Notwendigkeit des Anforderungsmanagements.
