Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich VWL Sonstiges, Note: 1,0, Fachhochschule Trier UmweltCampus, Standort Birkenfeld, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Tglich wird der Mensch als Verbraucher mit einer unbersichtlichen Vielzahl von Dienstleistungen und Waren konfrontiert. Diese Flle und die stetige Bewegung des Marktes erschweren es dem Individuum sich einen objektiven berblick ber das gesamte Angebot zu verschaffen. Dadurch wird bereits deutlich, dass der einzelne Verbraucher eine Hilfestellung bzw. Schutz bentigt, um nicht durch die Ttigkeiten der Anbieterseite benachteiligt zu werden. Die vorliegende Ausarbeitung knpft an diese berlegung an und zeigt auf, wie der Verbraucher in Europa und in Deutschland geschtzt wird. Ziel dabei ist es, einen Gesamtberblick ber die Institution des Verbraucherschutzes zu gewhren. Zu Beginn der Arbeit werden der Verbraucherschutz und dessen historische Entwicklung in Deutschland erlutert und wesentliche Ziele angefhrt. In diesem Kontext wird auch die Notwendigkeit des Verbraucherschutzes hergeleitet. Im weiteren Verlauf wird der Verbraucherschutz in der Europischen Union, ebenfalls in Bezug auf seine geschichtliche Entstehung erlutert sowie seine rechtlichen Grundlagen aufgezeigt. Es werden Manahmen zum Verbraucherschutz dargestellt und exemplarisch Verbraucherschutzorganisationen auf der Ebene der EU vorgestellt. Das darauffolgende Kapitel beschftigt sich explizit mit dem Verbraucherschutz in Deutschland, wobei besonderes Augenmerk auf das deutsche Verbraucherrecht und die Verbraucherschutzorganisationen gelegt wird. Abschlieend werden die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse in einem Fazit zusammengefasst.
