In dieser Arbeit sollte die Mglichkeit der Verhinderung und Bekmpfung der Kontaminierung der Umwelt mit IsosporaOozysten diskutiert werden. Dazu wurde die Wirksamkeit und Vertrglichkeit einer neuen kokzidioziden Suspension fr Hundewelpen und die Mglichkeit der Desinfektion berprft. Zur Etablierung des Infektionsmodells wurden insgesamt 59 Hunde aus zwei Altersgruppen (vor oder nach dem Absetzen) mit unterschiedlicher Anzahl an I. ohioensisKomplexOozysten und/oder I. canisOozysten infiziert. Die Vertrglichkeit der Suspension wurde an insgesamt 71 Hunden untersucht. Hierzu wurden die Hunde mit verschiedenen Suspensionen unterschiedlicher Lsungsmittel mit therapeutischer, sowie verschiedenen berdosierungen behandelt und danach auf das Auftreten von Nebenwirkungen beobachtet. Zur berprfung der Wirksamkeit wurden insgesamt 100 Welpen mit I. ohioensisKomplexOozysten und/oder I. canisOozysten experimentell infiziert. Die Suspension wurde in zwei Dosierungen und zu unterschiedlichen Behandlungszeitpunkten verabreicht. Die Wirksamkeit zweier Desinfektionsmittel wurde ebenfalls gegen IsosporaOozysten berprft.
