This seventh volume in Verlindens popular SHOWCASE series features seven all new dioramas by very skilled and masterful artists, in this case Greg Cihlar, Lewis Pruneau, Bob Letterman, Andrew Meyers, and Bill Konn. The dioramas presented in this book range in scale from 1:35, to 1:25, to 120mm. In the120mm category is Napoleonic scene, a 120mm WWI trench scene, a Navy SEAL mission in Vietnam, and a knockedout German Tiger Tank. In 1:35 scale there is a winter scene on the eastern front in WWII, and a torpedoed ship sinking in the Atlantic. The sole 1:25 piece is of a captured Israeli Centurion tank being transported by a Jordanian tractor trailer. In all, this is another beautiful book full of inspiring work of masters.It certainly belongs in the collections of every serious scale modeler, military enthusiast, and artist.
