David Bauer befasst sich mit der Verlustanalyse und berechnung sowie der resultierenden Schnittstelle zu thermischen Netzwerkmodellen bei permanentmagneterregten Synchronmaschinen, welche in Elektro und Hybridfahrzeugen eingesetzt werden. Die einzelnen Verlustarten untersucht der Autor hierbei hinsichtlich relevanter Verlusteffekte und analysiert die rumliche Verlustverteilung sowie das temperaturabhngige Verhalten der Verluste. Darauf aufbauend entwickelt er sowohl entsprechende Methoden zur Verlustbergabe an die thermische Domne als auch Skalierungsvorschriften und formeln zur Abbildung der Temperaturabhngigkeit.Der AutorDavid Bauer promovierte an der Universitt Stuttgart und ist heute im Bereich der Auslegung elektrischer Maschinen fr Elektro und Hybridantriebe ttig.
