Die Mhrenfliege ist aufgrund ihres Wirtspflanzenkreises in den meisten Agrarlandschaften der gemigten Breiten anzutreffen. Bei einer regional groen Mhrenanbaudichte kann sie innerhalb weniger Jahre zu einem massenhaft auftretenden Schdling mit erheblicher Auswirkung auf die Vermarktungsfhigkeit betroffener Feldfrchte werden. Fr die Mhrenfliege steht im kologischen Landbau kein Mittel der Direktbehandlung zur Verfgung. In der vorliegenden Dissertatin "Einfluss der Flchenwahl, Anbaudichte und Landschaftsstruktur auf den Befallsstatus und die Ausbreitung der Mhrenfliege Psila rosae F. im kologischen Mhrenanbau" werden prventive Regulierungsmglichkeiten auf betrieblicher und regionaler Ebene, insbesondere ber die Flchenwahl aufgezeigt. Mit einer Kombination aus intensivem Monitoring von Praxisflchen und Landschaftsparametern sowie GISbasierten Datenanalysen werden vorjhrige Mhrenflchen als Infektionsquellen identifiziert. Mindestabstnde zu solchen Vorjahresflchen werden zur Vermeidung eines Zuflugs im Frhjahr abgeleitet. Zudem werden in einem Fangpflanzenansatz Mglichkeiten des lokalen Bindens und Eliminierens der Fliegen (attract & kill) demonstriert.
