Er lebt als Schriftsteller und Berufsfischer in Attersee und Kirchdorf/Krems. Zuletzt erschienen von dem Autor die Gedichtbande Petruskomplex und Das Eintauchen sowie der Roman Circus Wols. Er erhielt 1994 das Stipendiat der Stiftung Niedersachsen (Lyrik) und 1999 den manuskriptePreis des Landes Steiermark.
