It was soon after Virginia Cyr's birth in 1942 in north central Indiana that she began to show signs of cerebral palsy. When her mother abandoned the family, the little girl was placed in an orphanage and later a boarding school and then a nursing home. She died in 1967 at age of 25. Virginia Cyr, God's Little Hobo is Virginia's story in Virginia's words.
