Supervielle trab amistad adems con Unamuno, Eugenio dOrs, Corpus Barga, Fernando Vela, secretario de la Revista de Occidente, y con Ramn Gmez de la Serna a quien se pareca por su humor breve y melanclico, y tradujo al francs El martirio de Santa Eulalia de Garca Lorca. Deca Supervielle que el poeta dispone de dos pedales, el claro, que le permite llegar a la transparencia, y el oscuro, que va hasta la opacidad, y aada: yo creo que raramente le he dado al pedal oscuro. Si oscurezco lo hago naturalmente y no hay en ello, as lo quisiera yo, ms que el velo de la poesa. Para traerlo de nuevo a la luz ofrecemos esta seleccin de sus poemas y prosas acompaados de anlisis, recuerdos y entrevistas de quienes le conocieron.
