Der Autor reiht sich damit in eine gute und berzeugende Tradition ein, kritisch zu den zeitgeschichtlichen Ereignissen Deutschlands in lyrischer Form Stellung zu beziehen. Dabei gelingt es ihm, sein Anliegen in knappen Worten und treffsicheren Bildern von oft bestrzender Eindringlichkeit poetisch berzeugend zu gestalten: staunend ber die Trivialitt des Inhumanen.About the AuthorWolfgang Bittner, geboren 1941 in Gleiwitz, lebt als freier Schriftsteller in Koln. Er studierte Jura, Soziologie und Philosophie und promovierte 1972 zum Dr. jur. Bis 1974 ging er verschiedenen Tatigkeiten nach, u.a. als Fursorgeangestellter, Verwaltungsbeamter und Rechtsanwalt. Ausgedehnte Reisen fuhrten ihn nach Vorderasien, Mexiko und Kanada. Er ist Mitglied im Verband deutscher Schriftsteller und im P.E.N., erhielt mehrere Literaturpreise und hat uber 30 Bucher fur Erwachsene, Jugendliche und Kinder geschrieben, darunter die Romane "Niemandsland," "Die Lachsfischer vom Yukon," "Narrengold" und "Marmelsteins Verwandlung" sowie das Sachbuch "Beruf: Schriftsteller."
