Den Rahmen hierzu bilden einerseits eine genaue Charakterisierung des auktorialen IchErzhlers, und andererseits die detaillierte Untersuchung seiner Fhigkeit zur Wahrnehmung, welche entscheidend ist fr die Interpretation seiner Umwelt. In welchem Verhltnis steht der Ausspruch Je me considre comme un type normal.", zu der Tatsache eines krankhaften Scheiterns und welches Bild der Gesellschaft lsst sich daraus ableiten, respektive belegen? Das Kernelement seines Weltbilds, die bertragung der kapitalistischen Marktlogik auf die Logik sexuellen Handelns, bildet keine endgltige Wahrheit, keinen Grund fr das Scheitern des Protagonisten. Der Ursprung dieser These lsst sich in der pathologischen Innenwelt der Hauptfigur offenlegen. Schlssel fr weiterfhrende Deutungsmglichkeiten, welche Aufschluss ber die Innenwelt des Protagonisten geben, bieten desweiteren zahlreiche Antagonismen, welche sich in seinem, wie ich zeigen werde, teils widersprchlichen Verhalten widerspiegeln. [...] Das Gesellschaftsbild, das durch den IchErzhler vorgetragen und verkrpert wird, wird in dieser Arbeit also nicht direkt durch einen Blick in seine Innenwelt, sondern durch eine Analyse der von ihm beschriebenen Auenwelt gezeichnet.
