Hier geht es darum, aufzuzeigen, dass Religion nicht primr ethisch begrndet sein muss oder dogmatisch. Das eigentliche Ziel der Religion ist die Erfahrbarkeit des Transzendenten, oder anders ausgedrckt: die Erfahrbarkeit des gttlichen Geistes. Nun, in seinem zweiten Buch"Rckkehr des Geistes" vertieft er dieses Thema hauptschlich durch die Berichte von Nahtoderlebnissen. Angeregt durch eine solche Erfahrung seines Grovaters, widmet sich der Autor diesem Thema und sieht darin eine Vertiefung des Glaubens.
