Diese Arbeit befat sich mit der Kirchen und Kolonialgeschichte Kameruns, mit ihrer Wirkung auf die heutige kamerunische Kirche und Gesellschaft. Die mehrdeutige Verwendung kolonial und missionsgeschichtlicher Materialien aus der deutschen und franzsischen Kolonialzeit macht deutlich, da bei allen Unterschieden zwischen deutscher und franzsischer Kolonial und Missionspolitik diese in ihren Grundmotiven und Strategien hnlich sind. Die Herausforderung an die jetzige Generation ist es, die in dieser Zeit entstandenen kulturellen, politischen und wirtschaftlichen Abhngigkeiten abzubauen.
