Entscheidung, Handlung beeinflussen' (Wermke 2005: 681) verstanden. Motivation entsteht aus der Interaktion von Person und Situation. Spezifische berdauernde Persnlichkeitsmerkmale die Motive werden durch die Wahrnehmung bestimmter Situationsbedingungen, die man als Anreize bezeichnet, aktiviert und damit zur Motivation' (Rosenstiel 1975: 226). Sie ist somit ein Zustand, der das Verhalten (in unserem Fall von Menschen) in eine bestimmte Richtung lenkt, um gewisse Ziele zu erreichen. Wichtig fr die sptere Beschreibung einzelner Motivationsmodelle ist das Verstndnis dafr, dass die Motivation vom Bedrfniszustand eines Organismus abhngt und, wie oben bereits erwhnt, in Verbindung mit entsprechenden inneren (intraorganismischen) oder ueren Reizen steht. uere Reize knnen soziale (interorganismische; beim Menschen: interpersonelle) Signale, aber auch Merkmale unbelebter Objekte sein (vgl. Wikipedia Motivation' 2009). Nach Beschreibung der Motivationstheorie, wird diese an einem Praxisbeispiel weiter erlutert.
