Jedoch ist der Realittsgrad beziehungsweise die Qualitt der Grafik die wichtigste Eigenschaft von Machinimas? Sind die Filme in Computerspielgrafik dadurch so berhmt geworden? Oder zeichnet sich dieses Phnomen durch andere Besonderheiten aus, wodurch es international bekannt geworden ist? Diese Fragen sollen in dieser Seminararbeit diskutiert werden. Denn Machinimas haben inzwischen Popularitt erlangt. Sie haben es von einer kleinen Subkultur zu weltweiter Bekanntheit geschafft und inzwischen knnen immer mehr, insbesondere in der Medienbranche, mit dem Begriff etwas anfangen oder nutzen sogar deren Mglichkeiten. Denn die MachinimaTechnik hat immer mehr Anwendungsbereiche gefunden. Machinimas werden dazu genutzt, um auf politische Ereignisse hinzuweisen, sie werden zum Ausdruck von moderner Kunst verwendet, es werden Musikvideos damit produziert und auch zur Untersttzung von Lerninhalten kann die MachinimaTechnik sehr hilfreich sein. In dieser Arbeit soll zuerst geklrt werden woraus sich der Begriff Machinima zusammensetzt und welche Medien dieses Phnomen formen und beeinflussen. Dies soll mit Hilfe des Gegenstandbereiches der Intermedialitt diskutiert werden. Als nchstes wird der Autor die Entstehung und die Schpfer von Machinimas nher beleuchten. Es geht um die soziale Gemeinschaft, welche die Kreation von Machinimas ermglicht, zu dessen Popularitt beitrgt und ein soziales Netzwerk bildet. Es soll auerdem beschrieben werden
