Der Sendebetrieb luft seit dem 07.11.2004. Ziel dieser Arbeit soll es sein herauszufinden, ob Radio Terral, wo der Autor selbst von April bis August 2005 Schulungen der Mitarbeiter durchgefhrt hat, die Voraussetzungen fr den Betrieb als Bildungsradio erfllt. Zunchst erlutert der Autor das Projekt Rio Hurtado, in das der Radiosender eingebettet ist, und die konkrete Funktion von Radio Terral als Bildungsradio in der Kommune Rio Hurtado. Um herauszufinden, ob diese Funktion erfllt werden kann, analysiert der Autor anschlieend, weil fr diese Region sendetechnisch von Bedeutung, die geografischen, die technischen und die personellen Gegebenheiten von Radio Terral, um sie mit den fr ein Bildungsradio relevanten Bedingungen zu vergleichen. Da es keine einheitlichen Angaben ber die Bedingungen fr Bildungsradios gibt, versucht der Autor diese durch Vorberlegungen festzulegen. Die Ergebnisse der einzelnen Betrachtungen finden dann Eingang in das Fazit, wo die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse Verbesserungsvorschlgen nach sich ziehen sollen.
