In all diesen Jahren hat Hegel seine Konzeption in groen Teilen neu formuliert. Diese Ausgabe legt daher im Unterschied zu allen frheren Kompilationen Hegels Manuskript und die Nachschriften seiner Hrer aus den vier Kollegien getrennt vor und ermglicht so erstmals eine entwicklungsgeschichtliche Analyse der Berliner Vorlesungen auf dem Gebiet der Religionsphilosophie.About the AuthorGeorg Friedrich Wilhelm Hegel wird 1770 in Stuttgart geboren. Die Tbinger Studienzeit erlebt er mit Hlderlin und Schelling zusammen als Stipendiat im Evangelischen Stift. Nach kurzer Hauslehrerzeit habilitiert sich Hegel 1801 in Jena und erhlt dort auf Vermittlung Goethes 1805 eine Professur. Es folgen Stationen in Nrnberg als Rektor des Aegidiengymnasiums und ein Ruf an die Universitt Heidelberg. Ab 1818 wirkt er dann als Nachfolger Fichtes an der Universitt Berlin. Die hegelsche Philosophie gilt in ihrer umfassenden und einheitlichen Systematik als Vollendung des deutschen Idealismus. Hegel stirbt 1831 in Berlin vermutlich an einer Magenkrankheit.
