She is a creative writing instructor, and the author of seven published books, but this is her first picture book. Ms. Harris lives with her husband and two daughters in Portage, Michigan, where she enjoys reading, rock climbing, hiking, and strolling through cemeteries (seriously).Susan Estelle Kwas is the illustrator of five books for children. When shes not drawing she likes to bind books, see lots of movies, and hang around with friends who tell goofy stories. She lives with her husband and her angry cat in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, near a lake so big that you cant see the other side.
