Eine Chance, profitabel zu agieren, besteht fr kleine Handelsunternehmen nur noch dann, wenn sie sich durch Kooperation in Verbundgruppen zusammenschlieen, um insbesondere im Bereich der Warenwirtschaft neuartige und profitable Wege zu beschreiten. Btx ist dabei in besonderem Mae geeignet, ein durchgngiges integriertes Informations und Kommunikationssystem mit Raumberbrckungsfunktion in einer Verbundgruppe zu untersttzen. In der betriebswirtschaftlichen Literatur werden bisher nur wenige umfassende Konzepte dargestellt, die die integrierte Informationsverarbeitung im Handel mit Btx verbinden. Allerdings bestehen nicht nur im Bereich der BtxLiteratur Defizite, sondern vor allem in der Darstellung innovativer Konzepte der Informationsverarbeitung in verteilten Systemen des Handels. Es existieren vielfach Insellsungen mit redundanter Datenhaltung. Daher werden in dem vorliegenden Buch alternative Lsungen zum Aufbau integrierter Informations und Kommunikationssysteme entwickelt und in Btxgesttzte Modelle umgesetzt. Um die theoretisch entwickelten Anstze praktisch zu belegen, wird auch ein Pflichtenheft fr ein Btxgesttztes System vorgestellt, auf dem ein in der Praxis realisierter Prototyp basiert.
