Dies wird anhand einiger ausgewhlter Beispiele gezeigt. Hierbei wird zu Beginn das RAFLogo in seinen unterschiedlichen Abwandlungen vorgestellt. Zustzlich wird die Rezeption der RAF in den Bereichen Musik und Mode bzw. Modefotografie beleuchtet. In dieser Untersuchung sind alle Beispiele so ausgewhlt, dass sich ein Betrachtungszeitraum ergibt, der mit der Selbstauflsungserklrung der RAF beginnt. Ob es dabei mglicherweise gar nicht um die Taten der RAF selbst geht, sondern nur um deren Image, ist eine sich daraus ergebende Frage. Bleiben in solchen Fllen die Taten der Terroristen, ja auch deren Opfer auen vor? Oder wird das Wissen um diese Dinge als selbstverstndlich angesehen, quasi vorausgesetzt, um das, was ausgedrckt werden soll, berhaupt verstehen zu knnen? Sind vielleicht die hier aufgefhrten Beispiele Teil eines Prozesses, in welchem ein vollstndiges Auseinandertreten von heutigen und der in den 70er und 80er Jahren dominierenden Darstellungen bzw. Wahrnehmungen der RAF zu Tage tritt? Wenn dies alles geklrt werden kann, lsst sich mglicherweise auch im Ansatz sagen, wie sich die gesellschaftliche Wahrnehmung der RAF ber die Zeit hinweg verndert hat.
