Dernbach/Meyer 2005: 12). Tagtglich werden Menschen angehalten, anderen Personen ihr Vertrauen zu schenken. Die Liste derjenigen, die Vertrauen einfordern, ist lang und liee sich beliebig erweitern: rzte, Politiker, Verwandte, Freunde, Versicherungsvertreter, Verkufer, Handwerker die Interaktion mit Reprsentanten dieser Gruppen erfordert an einem gewissen Punkt, dass geglaubt wird, was sie sagen, dass die Diagnosen, die sie stellen, richtig sind oder die Produkte, die sie verkaufen, bedenkenlos konsumiert werden knnen. Menschen vertrauen jedoch nicht nur auf der Mikroebene. Der Vertrauensbegriff ist auf allen nur erdenklichen Gebieten relevant. Ohne das Vertrauen in Organisationen, Institutionen, Wissenschaft und Technik wre das Funktionieren unserer modernen Gesellschaft nicht vorstellbar. Gerade weil sich der Vertrauensbegriff auf so viele unterschiedliche Bedeutungsfelder beziehen lsst, hat sich bislang keine klare und eindeutige Definition herausgebildet, die von allen Vertrauensforschern einvernehmlich benutzt wird (vgl. Laucken 2005: 95). Der Versuch, eine solche zu formulieren, wird zudem dadurch erschwert, dass sich sehr unterschiedliche Wissenschaften mit dem Phnomen Vertrauen auseinandersetzen und die Materie jeweils aus einer anderen Perspektive betrachten. Neben der Soziologie, Psychologie, Philosophie und Publizistikwissenschaft beschftigt sich auch die Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit dem Themenkomplex (vgl. Petermann 1996: 9). Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit soll eine Annherung an den Vertrauensbegriff vorgenommen und auf seine verschiedenen Aspekte eingegangen werden.
