Eltern von Kindern mit Spracherwerbsstrungen sind doppelt belastet. Sie wollen zum einen den gesellschaftlichen Rollenerwartungen bezglich der Kindererziehung entsprechen und zum anderen sind Sorgen aufgrund der spt einsetzenden Sprache und der Zukunft ihres Kindes allgegenwrtig. Die Eltern befinden sich in einem Dilemma. Einerseits wird ihnen mit den Worten "das wchst sich aus" zum Abwarten geraten. Andererseits nehmen Eltern intuitiv Aufflligkeiten wahr und hren aus dem Verwandten oder Bekanntenkreis: "Spricht Dein Kind immer noch nicht?" Die Bercksichtigung der Bedrfnisse von Eltern sprachaufflliger Kinder und die Zufriedenheit der Eltern mit der Betreuung ihrer Kinder ist ein wichtiges Qualittskriterium jeder sprachtherapeutischen Intervention. Im Bereich der sprachtherapeutischen Frhintervention bei zweijhrigen Late Talkern gibt es bislang nur wenige empirische Untersuchungen, die die Bedrfnisse der Eltern und Elternpartizipation evaluieren. Die Studie soll diese Forschungslcke kleiner werden lassen, indem die Sichtweisen der Eltern betrachtet werden, deren zwei bis dreijhrige spt sprechende Kinder am Late TalkerForschungsprojekt der Technischen Universitt Dortmund ber die Dauer von einem Jahr teilnahmen.
