Bonnie's groundbreaking work on the essayist Judith Sargent Murray has been used by David McCullough, Cokie Roberts, and Joseph E. Garland, among others, and recognized by Oxford University Press. Her consulting company, History Smiths, helps people think about and use 'history' in new, resultsoriented ways. Bonnie also owns Hurd Smith Communications, a publishing company. She resides on Boston's North Shore.
