Constitutional change, seemingly so orderly, formal, and refined, has in fact been a revolutionary process from the first, as Bruce Ackerman makes clear in We the People: Transformations. The Founding Fathers, hardly the genteel conservatives of myth, set America on a remarkable course of revolutionary disruption and constitutional creativity that endures to this day.

I just finished reading Volume 2: Transformations, and wow, it really challenged my perspective! The topics covered were both relevant and deep, perfect for anyone looking to broaden their horizons. Totally worth it if you're into socio-political discussions.

Not What I Expected
I was really looking forward to Volume 2 but was pretty disappointed. Some chapters felt disjointed, and the writing style didn't resonate with me at all. I expected more coherence in the transformations discussed. Just didn’t hit the mark for me.

Interesting but Slow at Times
This volume had some great insights, but there were parts that felt a bit dragged out. I found myself skimming through some sections. Still, it's a solid read for those who enjoy transformative concepts in society.
