Die vorliegende Monographie behandelt die Wechselwirkung von n Elektronensystemen mit Lewissuren (Metallhalogeniden), wobei das binre System mit der primren Wechselwirkung der Komponenten der Gegenstand dieser Darstellung ist. Aus diesem Grunde wurde bewut auf die Diskussion kinetischer Untersuchungen verzichtet, da diese in Zusammenhang mit der Interpretation von Reaktionsmechanismen der organischen Chemie an verschiedenen Stellen bersichtlich zusammen gestellt zu finden sind. Da der Primrschritt dieser Wechselwirkung, der bei kinetischen Unter suchungen nicht erfat werden kann, stets eine Komplexbildung zwi schen einem nElektronendonator und einer Lewissure ist, wurde daher versucht, einen berblick ber die Ergebnisse der Untersuchungen in den letzten Jahrzehnten zu geben, die sich mit dem direkten oder in direkten Nachweis dieser Komplexbildung befaten. Obwohl in den letzten Jahren in zunehmendem Mae die modernen physikalischen Methoden bei der Untersuchung dieser Systeme eingesetzt worden sind, bleiben eine Reihe von Fragen offen. Dies liegt zu einem groen Teil an den metechnischen Schwierigkeiten, die mit der auerordentlichen Luft und Feuchtigkeitsempfindlichkeit dieser Systeme verbunden sind. Den noch scheint es gerechtfertigt, den Stand der bisherigen Forschung auf diesem speziellen Gebiet der Moleklverbindungen in einer bersicht lichen Form zusammenhngend darzustellen, um damit gleichzeitig An regungen fr die weitere Forschung auf diesem Gebiet zu geben. Die Anregung zu der vorliegenden Monographie ging von Herrn Prof. Dr. G. BRIEGLEB aus, dem ich herzlich danken mchte, mich hierzu ermutigt zu haben.
