Seit einigen Jahren finden wir ihn in unterschiedliche Bereiche des ffentlichen Lebens, wie in der Jugendarbeit und zunehmend auch in der Erwachsenenbildung. Die Anwendung von Erlebnispdagogik ist vielseitig und methodenreich, aber sie wird auch als Sammelbecken fr abenteuerliche Aktionen missbraucht. Ein Grund fr mich zu hinterfragen, was Kurt Hahn als Urvater der Erlebnispdagogik' eigentlich wollte und ob nicht auch andere Pdagogen der Vergangenheit erlebnispdagogische Anstze in ihrem Verstndnis von Erziehung hatten. In dieser Arbeit werde ich zunchst zu den Wurzeln der Erlebnispdagogik zurckblicken und anschlieend das Wirken und Schaffen der Pdagogen Makarenko, Flanagan und Hahn untersuchen und vergleichen. Waren neben Kurt Hahn auch Makarenko und Flanagan Wegbereiter der modernen Erlebnispdagogik? Zum Abschluss werde ich meinen Blick in die Gegenwart richten. Was ist aus den Grundideen geworden und welche Aktualitt besitzen sie noch in unserer heutigen Zeit.
