Lnder Neuzeit, Absolutismus, Industrialisierung, Note: 2+, Universitt Bielefeld (Fakultt fr Geschichtswissenschaft und Philosophie), Veranstaltung: Die Franzsische Revolution und die Frauen, 18 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel meiner Arbeit ist, zu untersuchen, auf welche Weise Frauenbilder der Aufklrung in der Franzsischen Revolution rezipiert wurden und welchen Einflu diese wiederum auf das Frauenbild und die gesellschaftliche und rechtliche Rolle der Frau im revolutionren Frankreich hatten. Der Untersuchungszeitraum soll auf die Zeitspanne vom Ausbruch der Revolution 1789 bis zur Auflsung des Direktoriums unter Napolon Bonaparte im November 1799 begrenzt werden. Daraus ergibt sich, da die durch den von Napolon eingefhrten Code Civil bedingten Vernderungen (Verschlechterungen) der rechtlichen Stellung der Frau nicht miteinbezogen werden knnen. Als Beispiele fr unterschiedliche Weiblichkeitskonzepte der Aufklrung habe ich die Schriften des heute wenig bekannten Frhaufklrers Franois Poullain de la Barre und den der Sptaufklrung zugerechneten pdagogischen Roman Emile oder ber die Erziehung von JeanJacques Rousseau gewhlt. Auf der Grundlage dieser doch sehr unterschiedlichen Aussagen zur Rolle der Frau sollen anschlieend die Differenzpositionen zum Frauenbild in der Franzsischen Revolution untersucht werden. Die Namen Condorcet, Amar und Chaumette tauchen als Synonyme fr das egalitre bzw. komplementre Frauenbild in zahlreichen Arbeiten, die sich mit der Situation der weiblichen Bevlkerung im ausgehenden 18. Jahrhundert in Frankreich beschftigen, auf. Ich mchte versuchen zu zeigen, welche Parallelen, aber auch welche Abweichungen zwischen den Aussagen Poullains und Condorcets auf der einen Seite und Rousseaus und Amars auf der anderen Seite bestehen.
