With Freeman Kwazdo Donkor and Abraham Adzenyah. Based on four Ghanaian rhythmic groups (Sikyi, Adowa, Gahu, and Akom), this book and recording will provide drumset players with a new vocabulary based on some of the oldest and most influential rhythms in the world. A groundbreaking presentation!

I picked up 'West African Rhythms for Drumset' to expand my drumming skills and it's been fantastic. The rhythms are authentic and the explanations are clear. My drumming has really improved since I started following this!

Clear and Concise Instructions
The instructions in 'West African Rhythms for Drumset' are very clear, which I appreciate. I’ve been able to learn several rhythms quite quickly. It's a bit more on the basic side, but still enjoyable for intermediate players!

Delivery Took Too Long
I was excited to get this book but it took almost 3 weeks to arrive. The rhythms seem great but I haven’t had the chance to dive in yet because of the wait. Can’t comment much on the content just yet!

Not for Advanced Players
I thought this would be challenging enough, but a lot of the rhythms felt too simple for what I was looking for. It’s well-written, but I wouldn’t recommend it for experienced drummers. Good for those starting out, though!

Inspiring Beats and Grooves!
Absolutely loving this book! The West African rhythms are so inspiring and really bring a different flavor to my playing. The layout makes it easy to follow along, and I'm having a blast incorporating these into my practice.
