While I appreciate the depth of information in this second volume, it was a bit heavy for me. Some chapters felt bogged down with details that made it hard to stay focused. If you’re serious about history, it’s worth it, but I struggled a bit to get through it.

Great Follow-Up to Volume I
I just finished reading Volume II of Western Civilization and really enjoyed how it built on the previous book. The insights into the Renaissance and Enlightenment were fascinating. It’s a great read for anyone interested in history, and I found it surprisingly engaging!
