As a lifelong Catholic, I found "What's Left" to be a refreshing perspective on modern issues. The insights on American Catholicism really made me rethink some of my views. It's not just for liberals; I think anyone looking to understand the faith in today's world would benefit from it.

Not What I Hoped For
Honestly, I was disappointed with "What's Left". It felt more like a critique of conservative views within the Church than a constructive discussion. I really wanted to find hope and understanding, but I ended up frustrated instead.

Mixed Feelings About the Content
I was expecting a more balanced approach, but this book leaned heavily into liberal viewpoints which I didn't find particularly relatable. Some chapters were interesting, but I wish there was more diversity in perspectives. Worth a read if you're open-minded, though.
