In search of the true faces of art, this collection of Eddy Novarros portrait photography ventures from Picasso to Warhol, illustrating the photographers travels around the world in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The catalog presents 80 of the greatest painters and sculptors of their time, showcasing everybody who was anybody in the international art scene. The images are juxtaposed with the artists works from Novarros personal collection, which is composed of gifts from each subject along the way. Fashioning a special portrait of the avantgarde in the fine arts of the late 20th century, this volume features artists who include Salvador Dal, Mark Rothko, Roy Lichtenstein, Giorgio de Chirico, Henry Moore, Man Ray, Willem de Kooning, Ren Magritte, and more.
