As an instructor, I found this book incredibly insightful. The evidence-based practices outlined really helped me enhance my teaching methods. It's well-structured and easy to follow, making it a valuable addition to my teaching library.

Useful but not for everyone
This book has some interesting ideas, but I think it's more suited for experienced educators rather than newcomers. I bought it hoping for more straightforward practices, but it did give me some food for thought on higher education teaching.

Disappointed with the content
Unfortunately, I was let down by this book. I expected more practical advice based on the title, but it felt more like a theoretical overview. Not what I was looking for at all for my teaching needs.

A bit dense, but valuable
I appreciate the depth of research in this book, although I found some sections a bit dense to get through. It provides great evidence-based strategies for teaching, but I wish it had more practical examples to clarify some concepts.
