I really enjoyed the Why X Matters series! The content is well thought out, and it's visually pleasing. Perfect for those new to sound principles. I find myself referring back to it often!

Not what I expected
I bought this book thinking it would go deeper into sound theory, but it feels more like an overview. The illustrations are nice, but I was hoping for more substance. It’s alright if you’re just starting out.

Solid resource but some info is basic
This book series is definitely useful if you're getting into sound design. I appreciated the graphics, but some concepts felt a bit elementary for my taste. Still, it’s a handy reference for quick refreshers!

Good content, but delivery was slow
I was excited to receive the Why Sound Matters series, but it took longer than I expected to arrive. The actual book content is great once you get it, but the wait was a bit frustrating. Worth it in the end!

Great for learning audio design!
I bought the Why Sound Matters series for my son, who’s just starting out in audio design. The explanations are clear and engaging, making complex topics easier to grasp. He loves the interactive elements and vibrant illustrations!
