It is our right to demand that those representing us support us with responsible legislative action, while keeping our leaders in check. This book tells us how. About the Author VINCENT H. WILCOX is a retired music, history, science and math teacher with a BA and MA degree. He was very active in educational politics at the local and state level in California during the 1960s and 1970s. As a member of a rapidly disappearing generation, he wants to bridge the gap by focusing on the humanitarian achievements of the last century so that the newer generations can understand the need and urgency for a renewed stewardship whereby Social Security, Medicare and education are revitalized and secure for the generations to come so that we have a government that is truly 'of the people, by the people, and for the people.'
