Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich BWL Bank, Brse, Versicherung, Note: Sehr Gut, Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt (Vermgens und Finanzberatung), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Intention dieser Diplomarbeit liegt darin, einen Vorschlag fr eine erfolgreiche strategische Positionierung der Wiener Brse zu erstellen, um sich im zusammenwachsenden, wettbewerbsorientierten europischen Kapitalmarkt behaupten zu knnen. Zu Beginn werden theoretische Grundlagen ber Kapitalmrkte und Wertpapierbrsen vermittelt. Darauf folgt eine Unternehmensanalyse der Wiener Brse AG, wobei besonders der Transformationsprozess der vergangenen Jahre Beachtung findet. Die aktuelle Situation des sterreichischen Kapitalmarktes und die Struktur der europischen Brsenlandschaft sind wie eine Strken/SchwchenAnalyse des Finanzplatzes Wien weitere wichtige Inhalte. Die Erkenntnisse dieser Arbeit basieren auf Literaturrecherche und Experteninterviews. Die Darstellung der strategischen Positionierung in einem Produkt/MarkModell ist das Ergebnis der Untersuchungen. Durch eine Spezialisierung auf sterreichische Werte, und im Besonderen auf Klein und Mittelbetriebe sowie durch die Konzentration auf mittel und osteuropische Kapitalmarktprodukte ist fr die Wiener Brse eine klare Differenzierung von den Mitbewerbern mglich. Weiters kann mit Beratungsleistungen und innovativen Produkten ein Mehrwert bei Kunden und Emittenten erreicht werden. Die Zukunft der Wiener Brse liegt in einer regionalen Nationalbrse, die sich eindeutig von den groen europischen Handelsplattformen abhebt.
