These superb patterns, created by one of the principal founders of the British Arts and Crafts Movement, were originally designed for a wide number of uses. The vast majority of themdecorative letters, elaborate floral borders and frames, samples of body type, and delicate woodcut illustrationsfirst appeared in Morriss Kelmscott Chaucer. Together with a smaller selection of fullcolor images, originaaly intended for use in wallpaper, tapestries, tiles, and other domestic accessories, the handsome motifs offer a splendid capsulation of beautiful printing and a vast storehouse of ideas for use by todays commercial artists and craftworkers.

Honestly, I expected more from this William Morris clip art collection. While some images are stunning, several looked pixelated when I tried to enlarge them. It was frustrating because I wanted to use them for a printed project, and I couldn't get the resolution I needed.
