Ist es ein Makel, dass Reime und metrische Formen in einer Opulenz verwendet werden, die man lange vermissen musste? Wir reden hier nicht von neuem Wein in alten Schluchen. Thomas Christen nimmt seine Themen aus dem Hier und Heute und gibt ihnen ihre ganz eigene Form. Er gibt auf Fragen Antworten, die man so noch nicht gehrt hat. Es tut gut, dass hier Lyrik, tief in der Tradition wurzelnd, zu neuer Gestalt gewachsen ist.About the AuthorThomas Christen lebt in Dsseldorf und studierte Politikwissenschaften, Germanistik und Soziologie an der Universitt Trier sowie spter Agrarwissenschaften an der Universitt Bonn. Nach zwanzig Jahren Ttigkeit in einer Heidelberger Klassikproduktion grndete er im Jahr 2000 das audiovisuelle Konzeptlabel tomtone music (www.tomtone.de). Er schreibt seit ber zwanzig Jahren Texte fr Knstler wie Udo Jrgens, Milva, Veronika Fischer oder das Bremer Ensemble Mellow Melange und verfasste zwei Drehbcher fr MusicFeatures im Auftrag des ZDF. Er ist verheiratet und hat drei Kinder.
