About the Author Dr. med. Andreas Modrzejewski wurde 1958 in Freiburg i. Brg. geboren, ist verheiratet und hat drei Shne. Nach dem Medizinstudium in Freiburg erfolgte eine Weiterbildung in einer psychiatrischen und neurologischen Klinik. Als Facharzt fr Psychiatrie ist er seit 12 Jahren in der amtsrztlichen und sozialmedizinischen Abteilung eines Gesundheitsamtes im Raum Stuttgart ttig. Dr. Modrzejewski beschftigt sich schon lange mit dem Zusammenhang von Ernhrung und Krankheit. Als Hobbylufer interessiert er sich auch fr die gesundheitlichen Aspekte einer regelmigen Ausdauerbewegung.
