Wish You Were Here in The Wild explores the making of Disneys upcoming animated feature The Wild through a collection of postcards ostensibly written by the main characters and mailed to their friends during the course of their adventure.Each page leaf in this oversized, postcardproportioned book has a main image or image collage on the front side, and on the back side, "letter" text that reveals story and character development, and lengthy caption text, which will explore the creators backgrounds and the films art direction and technical production. Additionally, fictional addresses and stamp art will make any armchair traveler feel as if theyve gone behind the scenes of these wild adventures.Also enclosed are four pages of perforated postcards (16 postcards in total) for any intrepid voyager to get the message out about this extremely unique animated film.
