Mobbing is aggression and an emotional assault in work organizations. It can be explained as harmful behavior in any given workplace in any part of this world. Thus, mobbing is a universal fact, and it has a negative impact on the emotional wellbeing of any member of any organization. This book presents empirical evidence from Turkey. The research data was collected from 184 employees, from three different economic sectors: banking, health and education. The nature and typology of mobbing, and its associations with the aforementioned key organizational concepts are examined in detail with references to Turkish law. According to the findings of this study: mobbing is strongly associated bidirectionally with the concepts of organizational climate and organizational trust. Within this framework, when organizational climate and trust is perceived positively by the members of an organization, the rate of mobbing decreases. Results obtained in the book will help academicians, researchers and managers to better understand the causes and consequences of mobbing.
