Enjoyable but a bit dated
While I enjoyed the stories themselves, I feel some of the themes are a bit outdated for modern readers. Still, Munshi Premchand’s writing is poetic and meaningful. I’d recommend it but with a heads-up about the context of the stories.

This compilation of Munshi Premchand’s works is a delightful read! The narratives have such depth and emotion. I love how it captures the essence of Indian culture. I bought it for my dad, and he couldn't put it down!

Cover arrived damaged
I was really looking forward to this collection, but the cover was dented when it arrived, which was disappointing. The stories are still great, but the packaging could use some work. Might consider ordering again if they improve shipping quality.
