El presente estudio consta de dos partes que recorren caminos distintos y que buscan llegar al mismo lugar: la exploracin de la interaccin social de una comunidad religiosa neopentecostal en funcin de la construccin identitaria. La primera parte abre el camino del estudio en tanto seala el escenario en el que discurrimos y las herramientas tericas con las que muchos otros investigadores han abordado e interpretado el fenmeno social de la interaccin y los presupuestos de la identidad, pensando en la vertiente analtica microsociolgica. La segunda parte marca el descenso a la corroboracin emprica de tales interpretaciones y abordajes en una especie de encuentro con la materialidad de la accin y del sentido. Cada una de esas partes responde, en su nivel, a su propia recurrencia: el discurso cientfico sobre la accin y los procesos identitarios en su discurrir y la gestacin material de tales procesos en su haber. Es ese dilogo y la exploracin misma de la interaccin social situada lo que da forma al documento.
