This study provides a crucial analysis of how povertystricken, idle, frustrated young people in subSaharan Africa prefer to be empowered in order to harvest their potential and channel Africa into economic independence. This meticulously designed Q methodology study incorporated both quantitative and qualitative research strategies to achieve the remarkable goals of listening to youths' voices, experiences and concerns, and of analyzing their subjective contributions to reveal six perspectives that were in existence among the sampled population. Importantly, this study not only identified weakness that hinders the Kenya government from empowering the youth, it suggested alternatives that policy formulators can incorporate to attend to youth efficiently. Undoubtedly, this book offers a much needed roadmap on how Africas most abundant resource can be fully incorporated in the economic wellbeing of their nations.
