Erstmals wird sich explizit mit dem Problem der Altersdiskriminierung und dem Konzept des Ageism befasst.Altersdiskriminierung und Ageism werden theoretisch und empirisch ausgelotet. In den Beitrgen kommen Wissenschaftler und Wissenschaftlerinnen aus der Soziologie, Psychologie, Linguistik und Rechts und Kulturwissenschaft sowie der Praxis zu Wort, die sich der mglichen Benachteiligung von lteren in alternden Gesellschaften annehmen.
