Jahrhundert mit seiner theoretischen und praktischen Arbeit sehr groen Einflu auf Theater und Drama aus. Er bestand auf eine gesellschaftliche Anpassung und somit eine nderung des Theaters und formulierte dabei eine neue Aufgabe der Bhne ein neues Ziel sollte verfolgt werden. Seine groe Wirkung erreicht Brecht nicht zuletzt dadurch, dass er Stckeschreiber, Theoretiker und Bhnenpraktiker in einer Person vereinte. Die Mittel, die er entwickelte, gehen sogar so weit, dass sein Drama in der Funktion gendert wird und somit nicht mehr in die grundlegenden Anforderungen der aristotelischen Theorie einzugliedern ist. Brecht hatte seine Vorstellungen vorerst nur in Notizen und Aufzeichnungen festgehalten. 1930 publizierte er jedoch die erste zusammenhngende theoretische Schrift, in der er seine Vorstellungen von einem epischen Theater formulierte, die Anmerkungen zur Oper Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny" . Natrlich folgten viele weitere Aufstze bzw. theoretische Schriften, wie z. B. ber experimentelles Theater" oder Kleines Organon fr das Theater" u.a. Ich werde mich in dieser Arbeit mit den Anmerkungen" beschftigen. Dabei will ich versuchen, die ausgewhlten Elemente dahingehend zu analysieren, dass ihre Funktion und damit ihr von Brecht impliziertes Ziel deutlich werden. Es soll nachvollziehbar sein, dass Brecht diese Elemente bewut und absichtlich auf diese Art und Weise verwendet und an der jeweiligen Stelle eingesetzt hat.
