Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden Grundkenntnisse ber Produktionsplanung und Steuersysteme erlutert. Anschlieend werden Performancekriterien fr den spteren Vergleich festgelegt. Das Aufstellen von speziellen Kriterien ist notwendig, um eine objektive Vergleichbarkeit der einzelnen Steuersysteme zu ermglichen. Darauf folgend werden die Begriffe Push und Pull Produktion charakterisiert. Die bereits existente Literatur zum Performancevergleich von Produktionssteuersystemen frdert teilweise sehr kontrre Ergebnisse zu Tage. Daher soll ber den Performancevergleich herausgefunden werden, ob der aktuell vorherrschende Trend zur PullProduktion mit einhergehender Losgrenverkleinerung berechtigt ist und wirklich messbare Performance Vorteile gegenber MRP II gesteuerten PushSystemen vorhanden sind. Auerdem werden noch Hybridsysteme, wie beispielsweise Conwip in dem Performancevergleich mit einbezogen, welche die Vorteile von Push und PullSystemen vereinen sollen. Es werden verschiedene Testszenarien mit Variation der Inputparameter durchgefhrt, um die Strken und Schwchen der einzelnen Steuersysteme ausfindig zu machen.
